Music isn't simply a sound, Music tells a story. ​

 

Many people remember the great bond they shared with their first friend. For me my first friend was music. We used to dance in my living room and sing Billy Joel on the highway. I value this friendship to this day and recognize music's significance beyond its auditory form.

 

The day I picked up my first pair of drum sticks was like a life changing moment for me. Drumming allowed me to connect on a spiritual level with my old friend Music. This passion has taken me from New Jersey to the Carolinas; helped me meet hundreds of amazing people; and allowed me to perform for numerous crowds. All of those incredible experiences are only a fraction of music's story in my life.

The Garage Diaries is a platform to help share people's unique music stories. From reviews of live performances to live interviews I hope to paint a written picture of music's power and significance in society. If you have a great musical journey to share I would love to hear it.
