JACO PASTORIUS
Truth, Liberty & Soul - Live in NYC: The Complete 1982 NPR Jazz Alive! Recording

For those out there who want to sound like a music snob, here is the album for you. Imagine walking into work on Monday and people asking you if you bought any cool new records and your response is, "oh I didn't get much just some Jaco Pastorius." This recording of him playing in Avery Fisher Hall in NYC features many jazz icons such as the drummer Peter Erskine. Check out this electrifying performance released by Resonance Records.
THE LUMINEERS
Song Seeds

It is crazy to watch a band go from releasing their sophomore album in 2016 to touring the world opening for U2 one year later. This talented indie rock band has been putting in hard work and have been heavily rewarded for their labor. Their Record Store Day release, Song Seeds, is a musical expression of their journey from writing songs in Denver to touring the world. The record will feature 3 versions of two of their songs off the 2016 album. It starts with the rough demo version or "seed" of the song and then progresses into the full live version of the song from their tour. This is very creative concept of showing their musical growth from their homes to the road.
